certificate authority on server to be decommisioned from domain. Data is encrypted via the CA. I Need to remove encryption and then decommision CA. and server. If I perform decommision of CA will that decrypt the data in question?

Can access old data off certificate Authority but can't access password protected files that had been copied to another domain controller.
