regsrv32 ieframe.dll 80004001
Hi Guys
(Terminal server 2008 SP2.32b, IE8)
I am trying to get a program working called teleworker. It fails to install correctly reporting.
"the Module "c:\windows\system32\msxml.dll" failed to load
A dynamic link libarary (dll) initialization routine failed."
After reading an articale I run the app depenency Walker and review msxml.dll
This reported that IEFRAME.dll failed to load. "Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load
dependent module."
Try as I might I can not get this to register.
The Module "c:\windows\system32\ieframe.dll was loaded but the call to DLLREgister failed with error code 0X80004001. I have been trying to find a solution but have not found one on the web yet.
If anyone has any ideas I would appriciate the answer.

Hi Edoardo
I had already watch that video. Not sure if I am missing something here but that video just show the the user is having an issue with VB, and not how to fix it. (No Sound.)
Does not seem to have a fix for my issue.

Hi Craig,
Please click Start – All Programs – Accessories – right click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator".
Then, type regsvr32 command to register the DLL file again.
If the problem continues, please let us know the full name of the
teleworker program.
Regards,
Bruce

Hi Bruce
Yes I had already tried that but it did not help.
I did end up getting the application I required working by remove reinstalling IE8, and rolling backup to an eairly version of the software. Then upgrading again.
I will mark Bruce responce as correct as it is a requirement to get the .dll to correctly register.
Note.
I needed to follow the links on this page to remove IE8 from windows 2008 server
