Currently I am trying to find out why the citrix logons are randomly slow on random users.
While capturing the logon proces with procmon the duration of CreateFile takes: 9.6457329 seconds. ( during a slow logon)

with a normal logon this amount is less than 0.0000xx.

the share is sitting on a windows 2012 cluster resource. When changing the path to another (non cluster) server the issue does not occur.

What could we do to troubleshoot further?

Please directly create a file in the share on the windows 2012 cluster resource and compare to another non-cluster server to check if the process is still slow. If so, use the Network Monitor to capture the network traces and see which steps take long time.
