office 2003 with 2007 conversion pack does not work. xcell freezes when a .xlsx file is opened. the same files open and work fine on a windows 7 box.

Which version conversion pack installed on which OS platform along with SP details .

i believe its the 2007 conversion pack installed on server 2008 r2. no service pack installed yet.
