odd results from explorer search
Windows Server 2003 SP2 Using windows explorer search, specified a file name with a wild card ('ctl*.ora') and to search all hard drives. Gave rather strange results. Two of the hits were as I expected . The 'In Folder' column it showed fully qualified drive and directory path. But there were several more hits that looked like Unix relative pathing. Like 'dir1/dir11/dir111' (I'm making up the name here. The point is, no drive letter, and seperator character is a *forward* slash, like Unix, not a *back slash* like Windows.) If I do the searches from a command line ('dir /S filenamespec') I get hits only on the two that showed correctly in Explorer. So ... what am I looking at here?
