Hi.. I want to know how to prevent any one (user and administrators) from changing the IP someone told me its doable from the switch but the question is how ? so is there any way to do that ? thanks in advance

Using Group policy you can always disbale users access to the Control Panel (network connections) and remove the 'Run' command from their desktops. Once the clients are set to obtain a DHCP address then you can manage the IP's from your server. Hope that helps. Barry
