have a windows 2003 server used as a data store and location for data folder.I have noticed that randomly, in severalfolderthat do not have a security tab.I have tried changing the permissions of the parent folder, "Repalce permissions of all child objects...", I have run checkdisk, run the volume error checking tool.Can anyone there help me.

Hmm.....did u try goin to tools->folder options->view-> in the list uncheck the last option "use simple file sharing(recommended)" and then click on OK. and now you should have the security tab....if not pls post back......Regards, KOWSHAL H.M. a.k.a W@R10CK
