new to webcams
Hello, I have not been too involved with the webcam surge, but now I find I need to setup a server to handle webcam communications between my remote and main locations. I was at first thinking about using the live communications server, after looking into it and the versions avalible I am not too sure that this will do what I need it to do. I am running a version of windows 2008 R2, what choices do I have? Can someone please point me in the correct direction? Thanks in advanceGlenn

Hello Glenn, Thank you for posting here, and thanks to Sainath for the information. As far as I know, Office Live Meeting support webcam video, and we can communicate with each other in different location by using that. If you have question on how to use Live Meeting, please initialize a new thread in one of the following forums. The engineer and community members there are more familiar with it and can provide you more information in a more efficient way. Live Meeting http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/livemeeting For your reference, I have also included some resource about Office Communication Server. http://www.microsoft.com/communicationsserver/en/us/default.aspx Microsoft Office Live Meeting (2007 version) system requirements http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/livemeeting/HA102415191033.aspx Hope the information can be helpful. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Thank you all very much, after studiing the documentation, I am now working on a budget to get the servers updated to 64 bit, until that is done, the rest of the plan will have to wait. Again thank you very much for your responses and information links.Glenn
