moving profiles from d: to c:
1. I do not think it is a problem, because of you can always correct proper rights with script containing cacls function.
2. If it is on the same server and the same share name you do not need to change the UNC pathes in users property. However if you need to change the UNC path for the case, when you move profiles to another server.

I want to "Move" the profiles folder which holds all the roaming profiles for the users from one drive to another on the same server. i was considering doing "Robocopy d:\profiles c:\profiles /MIR" and then i assume when done i can delete the d:\profiles
and all will be well? the share and everything? wont there be two conflicts for a brief moment until i delete the d:\profiles folder? please advise.
