Hello,
I would recommend using SCOM for monitoring. You can also use Nagios for it.

Hi,
The Best thing you need to check Event viewer for all issues or else you need to write your own scripts to monitor the servers based on your domain requirements.
For example.
1.Disk space Issues.?
2. Performance(Memory/CPU) of the server in regular time intervals.?
3. Performance of Hardware devices, which are used in that particular server. ?

What Kind of monitoring you are looking for ? If you want to monitor the physica disk, ram and etc on a single machine then you can use the perfmon which is a builtin tool in Windows. If you want to monitor several servers on the network which includes
Active Directory, SQL and all other services then please look forward with the SCOM.
