migrating from windows 2k server
HieveryoneI have a question foranyone who can help me outthe backgroundI am anetwork admin in a medium sized companywe have about 90 people in our building but over 150 usersin our domain over all(part time, job sharingand remote offices).We are curently using Windows 2000 server (bit old I know but this is where the question comes in )we have 10 servers also including citrix servers My I.T manager came to me the other day to tell me we will soon have funding to upgrade our gear she asked me first of all to looking into the OS side of things before the hardware even comes into itso finally the question Which one do we upgrade to Windows 2003 or windows 2008 could anyone give me reasons to upgrade to either with some examples to backthemup (e.g. what would be the major advantage of Active Directory , File and print etc)Its not really about how easy it is to migrate because me and the guys in the office love a challenge but more so to do with what is the best choicethanks guys going to be looking into it myself but can anyone put me in the right direction I would love some first handexamples cheers
