merging system volume and boot volume installed in different disks in windows 2003 server
Hi from Spain, i recently purchased a custom based server from a business. They brought it to my house with windows server enterprise edition installed, wich I downloaded with my technet suscription. When i started the server i realized that system volume was on drive C (Disk0) and boot volume was on drive D (Disk 2). Now i have to choose between completely reinstalling the OS or merging boot and system volume. What can i do? If merging the volumes is a good solution, can you provide a checklist? Thanks. Windows server 2003 enterprise edition service pack 2, Intel Quad Core 2.83 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, 4 disks in a SATA II RAID.

Are you planning on deleting one of the partitions? Are you planning on attempting to change the driver letters? Regards, Dave Patrick .... Microsoft Certified Professional -Microsoft MVP [Windows]
