I've got the server 2008 standard full install. I'm running it in virtual pc. The install went fine, no problems there. The server boots, and then hangs at a black screen with the mouse cursor. (this is before the welcome screen that i can't get to) note-the core installation works, no login or basic usage problems.

Maybe there is (or should be) a dedicated forum for Microsoft Virtual PC, considering it is such a prevalent piece of software now with all these betas & how some German made processors support multiple virtualisations.

I have similar issue with Microsoft Virtual Server 5 R2 Sp1. We use RIS to build our OS. The XP image works finr on VServer but Win2k3 just give me black screen with no CPU activity after the build process restarts after image dump. It comes jus a black screen with mouse cursur. any ideas??
