is there a way I can clean up the start menu on Windows Server 2008R2?
I am looking for a way to clean up the start menu so when users remote into the server they do not see certain items. I do however want those items to be available to administrators. Is there a way I can do this?

Hi, There are many group policies to remove items from Start Menu. You can select and enable them in a GPO, then link this GPO to the OU where users reside. For more information, please refer to the following article: Group Policy Settings for Start Menu and Taskbar http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee617162(WS.10).aspx Hope it helps.
