I got the messag in the instance field of connection properties : An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.

Actually it worked with correct instance name but it was replaced with the upper message.

And the Authentication and connection information is replaced with "server is unavailable".

Could you help me how to resolve this issue?

To resolve this issue, make sure that you select the Map To Credential check box on the General tab of the Login Properties - sa dialog box before you change the "sa" login properties and then click OK to close the dialog box.
