hyper-v could not make replica virtual machine a clustered resource
An Exchange server that was previously being replicated to a DR cluster can no longer be clustered. The Server had some disks expanded, this caused the replica VM to stop syncronising. The replication was removed, the vhd disks and folder on the DR were
deleted and replication was then initiated again. The error "hyper-v could not make replica virtual machine a clustered resource" occured at the finish. There is ample room on the dr cluster, but no further information on why the creation of the
replica VM cannot be completed. I am a bit suck on knowing how to proceed with this issue. Windows 2012 based Hyper-V and Windows Storage Server DR SAN

Did you delete the cluster resource of the replica vm on the destination cluster? I had the same error when I ccidentally left the replica vm cluster resource but deleted the VM through Hyper-V Manager.

Hi Sir,
Agree with wasserja .
Please use powershell command get-clusterresource to check if if it remains :
