httpcfg for vista
Hi there, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'm try to configure HTTP endpoints in SQL Server upon Vista. It doesn't work! A spot of searching later and I managed to finda post here: http://www.dotnetconsult.co.uk/weblog/categoryview.aspx/Vistathat talks about needing httpcfg.exe for Vista. The guy managed to get it form some old Win2003 eval disk - but i haven't got that. Anyone know where I can get it from? Any help/advice much appreciated! -Jamie

A quick search of mscom (via the search provider plug-in to IE7 ) yielded this link for XPSP2: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=49AE8576-9BB9-4126-9761-BA8011FABF38&displaylang=en I'm checking with the http.sys team to confirm that this will also work on Windows Vista, and if not, what is the right tool to use.

Hi Ian, Appreciate the reply. Don't go to any trouble though (except to share this info for others) - I managed to sort out the problem I was having. Regards Jamie
