how to write a ISO image if windows server OS is installed
hi All, I have a DVD-writer in a system and there is a windows server 2008 R2 Operating system x64 bit installed in the system I have a .iso image file that i need to burn from this system. how would i do it. is there any third party tool available that gets installed on windows server 2008 R2 OS which is x64 bit and then i can write it Please assist. Hi, you can use Imageburn: http://www.imgburn.com/. It should work on Server 2008 R2, too. Kind regards, M.Hivner

Hi, You can also burn the ISO into a thumb drive like the following blog. Installation from a USB disk is much faster than a DVD disk. Installing Windows 7 using usb thumb drive http://blogs.technet.com/aviraj/archive/2009/02/01/installing-windows-7-using-usb-thumb-drive.aspx Best regards, Vincent Hu
