how to manage security for IIS
(windows 2008, windows 7 ) What is the relationship between the IUSR built in security principal and the IIS_IUSRS group? On a client PC I see the IIS_IUSRS group, but it is empty. When I try to add IUSR to that group, IUSR cannot be found because it is ( presumably ) a built in principal and not a user or group. Within active directory, users - I don't see IUSR or IIS_IUSRS. I want to lock down IIS so only IIS_IUSRS has access. But I am unclear as to who the IIS_IUSRS group is. Where does the system display the members of IIS_ISURS? thanks,
