Try disabling UAC. Here's a script that should be able to do this:http://badzmanaois.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-to-disable-user-account-control-in.htmlRegards,Salvador Manaois III MCSE MCSA CEH MCITP | Enterprise/Server Admin Bytes & Badz : http://badzmanaois.blogspot.com

Based On Search I have found the Solutions which might help you.http://blogs.technet.com/chengw/archive/2008/07/30/what-else-can-i-do-when-my-host-is-in-not-responding-state.aspx1. Ensure IDC-HVH-01.copaair.com is online and not blocked by a firewall. 2. Ensure that there is sufficient free space on the system volume. 3. Verify that the ADMIN$ share on IDC-HVH-01.xxxxxx.com exists. If the ADMIN$ share does not exist, reboot IDC-HVH-01.xxxxxx.com and then try the operation again.Syed Khairuddin

The real Adminstrator useridcould access shares on 2k8 but another user in the adminstrator group could not. Always got access denied. I dropped the firewall and that did not help. Turning off UAC worked like a champ! DaveDave

FWIW, this same issue occurs in Windows 7 beta. Seems very wrong that MSFT would disable administrative shares when UAC was enabled since there is a userid and password supplied from the other system trying to access them! My setupis a workgroup btw...Dave
