group policy question
how to update group policy without restart or logon / logoff?

Hi Muppuri,
By default, a refresh occurs every 90 minutes. The system may add a random time of up to 30 minutes to the refresh interval. If you'd like to apply domain policy to clients immediately, you could use update /force command. However, not all Group Policy extensions
are processed during a background refresh.

Hi muppuri,
For most of group policy settings, you can run "gpupdate /force" in command-line prompt to make them take into effect without restart.
However, as far as i know, some of the computer configuration settings should be restart computer to make them work. For example, software installation, PKI, BitLocker Drive Encryption.etc.
Hope it helps.
