forcing IE zones settings
I did a scan with MBSA which reports that "Internet Explorer zones do not have secure settings for some users... Some or all of the user settings for the following zones are below the recommended level."It is not always possible or convenient to log on as that user and change the IE settings. (e.g. A user does not frequently log on to that machine, is not easily available, or no longer works for the company.)Is there a way for an administrator to modify the user settings to the recommended level? What is the recommended way to fix this?Cam

The easiest way to handle this, imho, is to make use of group policies. Here are a couple of KBs which should provide you ample guidance on how to implement IE zones and other IE setting using group policies (at least for IE 6/7 on XP/2003):http://support.microsoft.com/kb/182569http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922704Regards,Salvador Manaois IIIMCITP | Server/Enterprise AdministratorMCSE MCSA MCTS C|EH CIWABytes & Badz: http://badzmanaois.blogspot.com/
