hi I have a file server in my domain and today I figured out that 2 shared files on my file server are visible from network but they are unvisible on my file server . I searched my server drives but I can't find them. In command prompt I dir the drive that have files and I found that their name are changed to . and .. , If any one know any solution or reason for this problem please let me know

Go to the command prompt and type Net Share The above command should you the path of the shared files if they are hidden or else go to the computer management and open shared folders and shares option. http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin

thanks I found the reason ,it was a virus that made my files protected operating system files and hidden so if I can remove the virus I can solve the problem . anyway thank you for your attention and time .
