I have a Windows 2003 SE, SP2. Running a Netapp software called Data Fabric Monitor. The monitor services is going down every 5-7 minutes. I opened a case to Netapp and they recommended to talk to Microsoft since the problem seems to be with msvcr80.dll. "Faulting application dfmmonitor.exe, version 3.8.0.6640, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.4053, fault address 0x00008923."

If they believe that the problem is definitely in msvcr80.dll, then I would recommend verifying the protected OS files. This is done with the system file checker utility: sfc /scannow If the error continues, then you may want to see if NetApp can give debugging support. -- Mike Burr
