I want to restore some files on a client computer backup. I start the wizard and choose a backup. then i click next. the computer then try to open the backup. it stops on 4%. after 30 second the wizard gives a error: restore failed, no connection with server, check your network connection.

the client computer is connected with the server.

i have the same problem on other client's.

i restart the server, but no result.

please help!

Would you please let me know whether install KB3023562 on the client computer? If installed, please temporarily un-install it from client computers, then check if this issue still exist.

Crash restoring files from client backup

If this issue still exist, please open Event Viewer if find some relevant events. Please also checl log files in the path:%programdata%\Microsoft\Windows Server\Logs.
