Is there a way to extract only installation files to install SQL 2012 client tools from complete media set. I'm interested in SQL MGMT Studio/Profiler/Data Quality services/Configuration tools.

According to my knowledge, there is no method to extract only client installation folder from SQL Server complete media.

However, you can install SQL Server 2012 from command prompt, use the /FEATURES parameter and specify feature values(DQ, DQC, Tools) to install your desired SQL Server components. But please note that when specifying DQ for /FEATURES parameter,  it also installs SQL Server Database Engine. In addition, you can also choose the expected features to install from SQL Server installation wizard.
