Hi I keep having this error message: The dynamic registration of the DNS record '_ldap._tcp.Default-First-Site-Name._sites.DomainDnsZones.servername. 600 IN SRV 0 100 389 servername.' failed on the following DNS server: DNS server IP address: 202.177.17.207 Returned Response Code (RCODE): 5 Returned Status Code: 9017 I checked and the DNS server belongs to our hosting site. The server configuration is not pointing to this server (or if it is hidden, where?). How do I overcome this issue? Many thanks in advance Richard

Hi Mr X Thanks for helping. I did dcdiag /fix and the the issue went away. (not sure if it went away but dcdiag did not come up with any errors) Why would the DNS server of our hosting service would be mentioned in the error? Richard
