Hi, I try to connect a .hta-File to a external HTTPS-Site via Windows Server 2008 R2. I've a certificate to authenticate against the site. I made several tries: - It works WITHOUT PROBLEMS on Windows XP (SP1,2,3), Windows Server 2003 (and R2), Windows Server 2000. - It works NOT on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. - I had no Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista fior testing. I googled around and tried to deactivate the TLS 1.0 option of the Internet Explorer. Result - I got a event 36887 error alert 40 but it still doesn't work. I tried to deactivate UAC too, but doesn't change anything at all. Any hint? - I need this get working otherwise I've to downgrade to Windows Server 2003 R2 just for this damn issue. Thanks a lot!
