error message
I keep getting the following message,

"Unable to connect to remote PC. Please provide the fully-qualified name or the IP address of the remote PC, and then try again."

How do I resolve this?

Hi

 First of all is this pc is a member of your domain?Did you configure the remote desktop permission on target pc?Did you configure the firewall settings on target pc?(Accept to 33899.Can you able to ping the target pc?Could you check to connect with ip?....Please check those..

Hi,

As this forum is specifically for Remote Desktop client, which is an app for iOS, Mac OS or Android devices. I would like to know if you are using one of these devices and the app for a connection.

If so, are you in the same network environment as the target you are trying to remote to? Also try to use IP of the target system instead of a NetBIOS name to see if the connection will work.

Also if you have a laptop or desktop for testing, please use RDP to do a same remote job just to confirm if the connection could work.
