I have recently migrated a mature ASP/VB6/COM+ based enterprise application on Windows Server 2008. Whereas the application has proven perfectly stable on Windows 2000 Server, I am experiencing the following error occurring sporadically: PTFMInvoicing error '800703fa' Automation error Illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion. Since this error only occurs when our application is run on Windows Server 2008, I would be interested in knowing if there were any noteworthy changes made to the way COM+ works in Windows Server 2008 which could be related to this problem. Also let me know the solution of this problem.
