dualboot PE and Server2012 from one drive?

Hi there

I have to implement for testin purposes an dual boot server2012 and pe

Therefore i made two partitions - on first i copied the content of a pe boot stick on the second is server 2012 installed.

When i activate the first partition pe is booting and when im activating the second 2012 is booting.

However - now i would need to merge this two bcd-files. but...

when im using the bcd of pe (first partition) and add the entry for 2012 at next boot i see a boot menu with two 2012 entries. after booting the bcd file only contains the boot entries of 2012 - not a sign of pe

when im usting the bcd of 2012 (second partion) and add the entry for pe i get after an reboot the error 0xc000000f

what im doing wrong?

isnt it possible to do this?

why not?

thx

Hi netlord,

Which version of Windows PE youre running, you could locate this registry key to check the value: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinPE.

In additional, please refer to the thread below to see if it is helpful.
