Hi, To be honest, I am not very clear about your concern. I suspect that the system cant find the hard drive when you want to install Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 after you configure the disk connect to AHCI(in BIOS). If so, this is an expected behavior, this is no SATA drive include in Windows XP/Windows 2003 installation disk. You can perform the following suggestions: 1. You have to add the driver to the installation disk yourself. 2. Configure the hard drive connect to IDE(or compatibility mode in BIOS). After the installation of Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, install the SATA driver and then configure the hard drive connect to AHCI if you desired. In addition, Id like to tell you that we dont support the above two scenario officially.
