I've used the dotnet cleanup tool and 3.5 sp1 is still showing in my add/remove programs on windows server 2003. When I try to uninstall it from add/remove programs it says it's not there. How can I get rid of it. thanks. Kevin

After the cleanup tool was run did you restart the server and then check to see if it still shows up? Confirm in the registry if .NET 3.5.1 appears. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates. Tom, Thank for the response. I did restart and it still shows. What shows up is "Hotfix for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. sp1 (KB958484). I did look in the registry and .NET 3.5.1 does not appear nor does KB958484. Any suggestions on how I can remove this hot fix. I have a vendor blaming this for thier application not working and need to get it out of the add/remove programs. I have done the full 3.5 install and removed it but this still stays in there.
