domain problem
hello,
i got these error on my dc evenet viewer:
Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO CN={31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=domain,DC=local. The file must be present at the location <\\Salloum.local\sysvol\domain.local\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\gpt.ini>.
(Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. Check the event log for possible messages previously logged by the policy engine that describes the reason for this.

and i cann't access to server anymore
i tried to enter \\server and
\\domain.local\
i
so what i have to do ?

Give us the event id is it 1058 ?

Hello,
please use Microsoft Skydrive to upload the output of these commands on all DCs that you have:
ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt [from each DC/DNS Server]
dcdiag /v /c /d /e /s:dcname >c:\dcdiag.txt
repadmin /showrepl dc* /verbose /all /intersite >c:\repl.txt ["dc* is a place holder for the starting name of the DCs if they all begin the same (if more then one DC exists)]
dnslint /ad /s "DCipaddress" (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321045)
Once done, post a link here.

Hi,
This error code usually indicates that the user or computer does not have the appropriate permissions to access the path specified in the event.
Based on the current situation, please perform the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1.
Right click on the problematic gpt.ini file and click
Permissions.
2.
Switch to
Security tab and click Edit.
3.
Highlight
Authenticated Users, remove all the boxes under
Deny and check the following items under
Allow.

Read & execute
l
Read
4.
Click
OK twice to test the issue.

post them into the thread, please use Windows Sky Drive (skydrive.live.com) [with open access!] and add the link from it here.
