dns problem help!!!!
hi im jens, i have a problem beuqase i want to start a webbserver in my home.
im a student and study some teqnics like asp.net c# and so on.
im reading for mcts .netframework 3.5 and asp.net develooper 3.5 and also wpf.
its importent for me to have my own server, i need to install different teqnics like silverlight azure and so on, im learning like this.
i have a dns so my ip chance i need hekp to solve this.
i have licence in server r2 2008 and web server r2 2008.
i need to work whith asp.net but also php.
i wonder if apache shoulöd be a good choice its just for me annd i casn host other but not so many.
please help me whith my dns and if iis is a good choice?

please understand that DNS is just a service which resolve ip to hostname and vice versa it doesnt matters if you host apache or IIS and your questions is not much clear and I beleive you should start posting in the MSDN forums for .net issues

what kind of DNS problem do you have? Until now you didn't mention it.
For asp.net and silverlight and/or programming please use the MSDN forum instead this one, as already mentioned from Syed.
