hello i have server 2003 r2 and i use it for hosting i have iis server and dns serve in dns server i have one zone its was working find but now when i try the network-tools give me that there is a faulit to get the records. i disable all firewalls but noting happening and there are no errors in event viewer. thanks.

Hello, I have not understood your problem. If you have a problem with a record then check your DNS zone and make sure that it points to the correct IP address. If it does not exist then create it. To check DNS resolution, please use nslookup. Hi Amin, on the local server i can but when i tried to do it from out side it's fail, the problem is only with name resloutions i can access to iis througe ip. If you want to access IIS Namespace from Internet, please contact your ISP to update your DNS record. If you want to access IIS Namespace from Intranet (same domain or from other domain),please set client DNS servers point to this DNS server(or DNS server set DNS conditional forwarders to this DNS server)Regards, Rick Tan
