Hello, sorry but your problem is not to understand for me. What network tool do you talk about and which error is shown if you use it? Is that server only IIS/DNS or are there also other server roles and applications installed?Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Hello, I have not understood your problem. If you have a problem with a record then check your DNS zone and make sure that it points to the correct IP address. If it does not exist then create it. To check DNS resolution, please use nslookup. If you have a problem with IIS then consider posting here: http://forums.iis.net/ This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Hi Amin, on the local server i can but when i tried to do it from out side it's fail, the problem is only with name resloutions i can access to iis througe ip. If you want to access IIS Namespace from Internet, please contact your ISP to update your DNS record. If you want to access IIS Namespace from Intranet (same domain or from other domain),please set client DNS servers point to this DNS server(or DNS server set DNS conditional forwarders to this DNS server)Regards, Rick Tan

Hi Amin, Please let your server points to your internal DNS servers as DNS servers and add your ISP DNS servers as forwarders. the xxx.xxx.xxx is the not my domain.com it's the server hosting dns. If the internal DNS server is not your domain server, please point your DNS servers to your server itself.Regards, Rick Tan

Hello, as I see your server is member of your domain. Please let your server points to your internal DNS servers as DNS servers and add your ISP DNS servers as forwarders. Please avoid using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS servers for security reasons. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Is your DC member of your domain? If yes then this is perfectly normal if the DCs are not reachable. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
