hi , in line with above suggestions , i would say you need to understand the following Please understand that dns namespace is different from Ad domain name space which means dns namespace "sai.com " is different from Ad name space "sai.com" Simplify : dns name space stores zones resource record info, Ad names space is nothing but schema --> objects --> classes But to provide interoperability for domain controller finding location as the DC hosts the AD , it was necessary to join both ad and dns. So delegation was introduced to add up more additional namespace requirement , which was useful to provide more security across the organization. eg: technet.sai.com == namespace , computer under technet.sai.com would have wind7.techent.sai.com. , remember the . at the end which is the root ( final search for resource records for dns server service. ) here sai.com is parent and technet is child namespace ( similar to have additional room in your house , house being parent and rooms being child )
