dim and measure name change

Hi all,

how to change measure names in ssas. i need to change it from Total measure to Total GM.

how to change Dimension names in ssas. i need to change it from ID to Master ID.

In SSAS (BIDS or visual studio) open the cube structure . For measures In the Measures pen click in the name column and Rename it,

for dimension - In the dimensions pen find the dimension you want to rename and right click and rename it.

This will not change Physical dimension names but the way its being represented in you cube.
