What i difference between raid 1 and raid 5. 2 how we will define checksum and parity and strip

Thanks for reply, 1. Could u explain that how much storage is used for parity and data in Raid 5. Suppose i have 1Tb of 3 drives it means total storage space 3Tb, in this case how much space is used for data and how much parity 2 As i have read that 3 drives are required for Raid 5, suppose if second hard disk fails in that case data could be recovered and if third disk fails what would happen 3 On which hard disk parity is stored either first, second or third.
