dhcp folder unaccessible
I'm attempting to ship the dhcp logs to a syslog server. I've tried multiple applications such as monitorware agent, splunk, etc. and when I attempt to set the path for the dhcp logs it cannot browse that directory. c:\windows\system32\dhcp\
I'm running these apps as Administrator. Is there a reason?
I don't expect you to support the 3rd party apps, but I think there is a server side configuration setting that isn't allowing me to view the dhcp folder through this app. I can browse other directories, even into the system32 folder, but the dhcp
folder is just missing when viewing it through the app's browse function.

Hi Kanien,
Thanks for posting here.
What’s the OS version that running on the DHCP server ?
Is DHCP service still running when you attempted to export logs via third party utility ?
please check and post back the folder permission settings for further investigation by using AccessEnum, a utility form sysinternal.
AccessEnum v1.32

Meanwhile , I suggest to try if the logs could be exported by using PowerShell script :

Thanks.
