I'm not sure where this should be so here it is. We have disabled IPv6 in our NIC settings because we just are not there yet. Problem is that ping, tracert, and event logs are still recording/displaying IPv6 address and it makes it a pain to convert to IPv4 IP's. Am I missing a place to disable IPv6 totally ? Or is there a setting somewhere in to have everything default to IPv4 format ? Thanks

Please post in ipconfig /all from a machine that shows this symptoms. Where are you pinging from? A multihomed server, client?MCTS...
