are you talking about default domain policy? 

if so, things like password policy, account lockout policy, kerberos policy, audit policy, user rights assignment, auto enrollment settings for certs (user & computer), folder redirection for profiles (if used)

These are a few settings we have here. But, generally your default domain policy are settings that everyone and every machine regardless of their job gets the policies.

What's your operation system? Is the computer a domain controller.

For the deafult setting you could refer to the article. And the default settings are automatic setted on a clean Domain Controller.
