databasemail changes my smtp passwords on save
My SQL 2008 databasemail account setup accepts my smtp basic username and password but then shows a truncated password when I review the account after saving. I get a test mail failure due to authentication failure - assume it may be because of this. Solutions please...

No, it don't. For security it always show a limit count of chars, that's all.
