Unit monitor could generate an alert when heath state is in critical state or warning state.
While using ThreeStateMonitorType, how could unit monitor generate alerts in either state ?

like Alexis says, Severity matches monitor health.

it will generate one alert, and if it goes from warning to critical, it will change the state of the alert.

A 3 state monitor type has 3 states: Green = Ok, Yellow = Warning, and Red = Critical.
if you create a new 3 state monitor on % free disk space, and you configure warning = 85% and Critical at 95%, the monitor will be green or OK if the % free disk space is less than 85%. This is one state. 85% to 94% would be warning,(second state) and 95% and higher is critical (third state).
