connot run dcpromo wizard on windows server 2008
when running dcpromo wizard on server 2008 i get an error that states that my password is not acceptable. I have already changed my password to make it compliant . I have in the command line used passwordreq:yes successfully and still unable to use
the wizard. I am a small business owner with minimal networking skills.

please post the complete error message you get.

Hello,
Make sure these 2 thins:
1.Your Password must be complex, you can test your DCpromo wizard using this password: Pa$$w0rd
2.The account name should be "Administrator" if you changed it you would need to rename it to be "Administrator"
