Hello, One easy way is to check in IIS. From where they want to access company intranet page? Outside the company LAN Network? IN DNS , We only add Host Record "A" and CNAME of the Host Records. How do i find the company intranet address? I dont understand this question. One should know the company intranet address if it is published, Regards, _Prashant_ MCSA|MCITP SA|Microsoft Exchange 2003 Blog - http://prashant1987.wordpress.com Disclaimer: This posting is provided AS-IS with no warranties/guarantees and confers no rights.

It seems there is a problem connecting to the SQL database. What version of Sharepoint are you running? Please follow the steps detailed in the article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823287 Also check the event logs and post the event IDs here. Try looking in Programs and Features for the sharepoint version. There is some troubleshooting involved and you need to know a few basic things in order to solve the issue like, server names, Ip addresses, services running on servers, ports, permissions, etc. Withouth basic information we can't help you solve your issue. You can try also posting your question on the Sharepoint forums but the issue is more likely to be releated either to connectivity, name resolution, or access permissions. You should find someone with some experience in troubleshooting these issues to help you out. Elance is a freelancing site where you can hire specialist to help you out. Be sure to have a look at Elance as a last resort in case you can't fix it yourself. I have also profile there.MCTS - Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
