cisco vpn client on server 2008
I have set up a server 2008 to use as a desktop to get more familiar with it and also setting up the terminal services. but i need to be able to test vpn connections using cisco vpn. i have downloaded the newest client for vista and am getting "Error 56: The cisco systems inx. VPN service has not been started. Please start the service and try again" so i start and try again and it will then error out.What am i doing wrong?wycky

The Cisco Client does not support Server 2008 as it is replacing that with the AnyConnect client. You'll need to move to the new VPN client type to get this to work.RyanMCSE, MCTS:SQL 2005, Project+
