Niiice, Somebody there may not appreciate your server names, subnets and MAC addresses made public. Ping fqdn of DC, if address resolves incorrectly, check WINS on the problem server and check hosts file for static entries that might be incorrect. Miguel Fra www.falconits.com

Hi,Do a SET L @ the command promptand compare with the good working servers, make sure LOGONSERVER matches.Make sure you arenot logging in to a local machine account but rather into the domain. Also, please run this tool:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1EA70814-7E6C-46E5-8C8C-3C439A732E9F&displaylang=enDo these things before and AFTER the 3 hour period when the server works and after it stops working then compare the results. Please go back to your second post and xxx out the domain name, host name andMAC addresses. You are providing private information concerning your internal network and it's DC's. Although it in itself is not enough for someone to penetrate your network, as a matter of best practice, this information should not be made publicly available. Miguel Miguel Fra www.falconits.com

Hi, In addition to Falcon ITSs suggestions, please run the command nltest /dsgetdc: /force on the problematic server to check if it can locate a domain controller when the issue occurs. Please let us know the result after you perform the steps. I look forward to your response.
