blue screen at w2k3 install with RIS
Hi, I'm trying to deploy a w2k3 x86 image and x64 image on a dell latitude D620 but when it finds the drivers and the message "Setup is starting windows"" is displays I get a blue screen. Does anybody know what causes this? First I thaught it were my images but I don't think that is the case since there were made with RISetup. The error on the blue screen is : STOP: 0x000000BB (0x00000003 0xC00000C0,0x00000000,0x00000000) Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance

Hi Tommy, Based on my research, this problem may occur when PXE clients fail to obtain IP address from DHCP server or it. Please double check your DHCP configuration to ensure PXE clients is not assigned a duplicate IP address with some other clients or devices, such as Printers. Can you tell me if there is any detailed error message on the blue screen? Can the problematic laptop get an IP address when it boot up? Is the network interface Broadcom? In addition, the following post that describes the same error may be of assistance.http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=insp_general&message.id=235727&c=us&l=en&cs=&s=gen Hope it helps.

The problem was fixed when I added the b57xp32.sys file in the i386 folder. I thought it wasn't necessary because I wasn't planning to deploy XP. But thanks anyway for the help.

I have the same issue when injecting an image from WDS to a HP 6910p, "... a duplicate IP address was assigned to this machine". Technical information on the Blue Screen is STOP: 0x00000BC (0x7B04DA0A,0X00000000,0X00000000,0X00000000).Any clue?
