I'm in the middle of test-migrating tons of file share from window 2000 to 2008. In windows 2003, you can set the firewall to allow only file sharing connection from a single host. I can't figure out how to do this in windows 2008. I want to block every file share traffic but allow it only to a single computer. It looks like this is not possible without using IPSEC. am i correct? i want to block people from accessing the windows 2008 while i'm transferring data from my windows 2000 box. anyone know how to accomplish this?
